Harisan
Satgunathevan
Director
Harisan is a 31 year old professional who is a true believer that your mental health should be a priority.
“How we feel emotionally day-to-day and how we feel physically can certainly be connected to our mental health. It affects our daily life more than we know it.
Unfortunately society has cast stigmas over mental health causing people within society to shy away from seeking help or treatment.
The fear of being labeled or being shunned away from social circles haunt people who are suffering from this illness.
Mental health is important to me because I truly believe we need to do more as a society to let individuals know it is okay to seek help. I’ve witnessed individuals suffer from mental health whilst in the workplace and in my personal life. We never know who amongst us suffers with mental health. I feel that the suffering has gone on far too long and it’s time to make it a priority.
We must prioritize our mental health. Many fail to recognize that we are not truly healthy without attention to mental health as well.”
